Cabrales "Picos Blue" is a cow's milk cheese made in the artisan tradition by dairy farmers in the village of the same name, and three other villages in the Penamellera township in the eastern Asturia's region of northern Spain.  It is a semi hard blue cheese with a strong spicy flavour.  Made exclusively from herds raised in the small area of the Asturias region of the Picos de Europa mountains from un-pasteurised cows milk and Goats milk and on occassion when available, ewe's milk.


Unpasteurised Cow's milk & Goat's milk.
